What to do ?Discover the narrow streets of the village of Saint Jeannet, take a walk on the numerous paths around the village ( G.R. 51 ), you may even start your discovery from our house ! Learn or practice mountain climbing, the climbing site of Saint Jeannet is internationally known. Go for a horse ride at the Col de Vence, have a swim in the rivers during summertime. Of course, all kinds of water sports are available on the beaches. They are many other possibilities... If you like cultural activities, many artists have been attracted by our southern light, you will find museums, foundations, art galleries ( Chagall, Matisse, Picasso, Léger, a museum and art school of Modern and contemporary art, the Maeght Foundation ,...). Many medieval villages are perched in the surrounding mountains with their circular ramparts. Quite near us there are Vence, Saint Paul de Vence, Tourrettes sur Loup, Gourdon and a little further Eze, Gorbio, Sainte Agnès. Signs of baroque architecture can be found in many churches and painted chapels of the region, the magnificent chapel of Notre Dame des Fontaines in La Brigue is an example. The regional park of Mercantour is at one and half hour drive from here, you can discover its wildlife and rupestrian sites. There are also Monaco and its Oceanic Museum and Marineland with its killer whales and dolphins show in Biot. You may also visit the gardens from Antibes to Menton and very near us, an extraordinary garden of flowers and potteries. And why not discover the meridional tastes and cooking ? The main ingredients are displayed on the neighbour markets and in the old town of Nice. And what if you don't want to do anything ?You may lounge on the beach in summertime. You may also stay in the garden, reading, drawing or taking a little nap.
According to your biorhythm, you may enjoy contemplating the sunrise or the sunset. You can have very special seats for birds concerts ( sorry we don't have the program in advance ! ). Books are available in the lounge and you may listen to some cool music.
